On Saturday, April 23, students from across Trinity University’s campus came together to show off their dance moves, play games, and hang out with our patient ambassadors, all while raising funds for CHRISUS Children’s!
The Trinity University Dance Marathon, known as TigerThon, raised an incredible $11,008! Patient Ambassadors, Camilla, Holly, Heather, Lindsey, Violet, and Nolan, joined in on the action to help spread the word about CHRISTUS Children’s and had some fun with their Trinity University friends!
“I’m so incredibly proud of TigerThon’s participants and student leaders”, said Alexis Rivera, philanthropy specialist at CHRISTUS Children’s Foundation. “Each year, they work tirelessly to raise awareness and vital funds for our patients and families. As we continue to grow the program, I can’t wait to see what they all can continue to achieve,”
Since 2018, Trinity students have been fundraising for the hospital through their main TigerThon event, with additional fundraising events throughout the year. Students participate in a volleyball tournament, trivia, give back nights, and so much more– all in the spirit of fundraising!
Thank you, Trinity University students, for another outstanding year. We’re so grateful for each of you and the impact you’re making on so many little lives. We’re looking forward to TigerThon 2024!
