Since March of last year, our Associates have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic treating the sick, aiding those in need, and now administering the vaccine to continue to protect our community, starting with our health care workers.
The need to help others is rooted deep in Santa Rosa’s history, and will carry on for many years to come. Our Associates have remained vigilant in creating a safe environment for anyone who enters our doors. Though this last year was trying, and often times uncertain, our gratitude for our incredible team members has only grown stronger.

Thank you to each and every one of our Associates for continuing to show up daily for our community. Many Associates, like CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center ICU nurse John Tindall, have experienced many tough shifts, but he remains hopeful as he is inspired by his coworker’s uplifting spirits. The positivity our Associates have shown in the face of a pandemic can only be described as heroic.
As the COVID-19 vaccine begins to be administered throughout the world, and by our Associates here in our communities, we thank you for getting us here, and keeping us safe. Our Associates have gone above and beyond their call of duty, each looking forward to the day they can exhale and feel a sigh of relief. Bethany Loy, registered respiratory therapist at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center, returned early from her scheduled time-off to care for the sick and lend a hand to her hospital in need.
These are just two examples of our heroes at work. Each day, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa’s five adult hospitals, (Alamo Heights, Medical Center, New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Westover Hills) continue to strive for excellence while working towards a common goal of healing our friends, family, and neighbors.
To our donors, thank you again for your encouragement and support. We are humbled by your faith in our ministry and our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Please consider making a gift to the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation.
