“Extra Life” Fundraising Event Scheduled for November 7

Families, individuals and gaming groups are helping sick and injured children treated at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio with a can’t-miss opportunity on November 7. Extra Life—a fundraising phenomenon helping Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America—adds a life-saving purpose to playing video, board and lawn games.

Gamers can register for free at www.Extra-Life.org and select to support Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Once a fundraising account and goal is established, participants ask their friends and family to support their “game day” on November 7.

Last year, local gamers raised more than $61,000 for the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts and are looking forward to another great fundraising event!
