Add a Splash of Color on National Coloring Day

Coloring promotes wellness. It helps reduce stress and anxiety, promotes creativity, improves fine motor skills, encourages socialization, and it’s fun!

You can help add a splash of color to a child’s life at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio on National Coloring Day coming up on September 14.

Here’s how you can help: Beginning August 29 through September 14, for every $10 donation, one coloring book will be delivered to a patient at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio in celebration of National Coloring Day. Donations can be made at childrenshospitalsafoundation.org/color.

This coloring book, which features fun activities and video game characters, was made possible by artists in our local San Antonio Extra Life guild. All funds collected through coloring book donations will contribute to Extra Life fundraising benefiting The Children’s Hospital.

Extra Life is a peer-to-peer, year-round nationwide fundraising program benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). Funds raised by local gamers stay in each community to support its local partner children’s hospital. Our San Antonio Extra Life guild is a group of tabletop and video gamers (and artists!) of all ages who play games to make a difference for patients at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, your local CMN Hospitals partner. We’re so incredibly grateful for their ongoing support!

Official Extra Life Game Day is coming up on November 5. To learn more about Extra Life and how you can register to play games to help heal kids, or to support fundraising efforts of local gamers, visit extra-life.org.
