Sister Michele O’Brien’s 11th Annual Golf fore Friends Tournament

Thank you to everyone who sponsored and attended Sister Michele O’Brien’s Golf fore Friends Tournament. This was our 11th year holding the golf tournament, but first year holding it across a two-day span! Both Friday and Saturday were filled with sunshine that set the perfect scene for a day of golf. Sending a special thank you to our platinum sponsors: HHS and Freeman White, A Haskell Company!

Golfers began their day with a delicious breakfast bar provided by The Kowalski Family, Aramark, and Mama Margie’s, followed by a special prayer from Sister Michele O’Brien herself.

After a day of golfing for a great cause, players enjoyed lunch sponsored by RK Cares, while checking out the items up for auction. Auction items ranged from Costa sunglasses to a Park City, Utah trip. All proceeds benefiting the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation.

We ended each day awarding the tournament winners with a round-of-applause and their beautiful prizes provided by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry & Distinctive Gifts. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Friday Tournament Winners:

1st – Rogers O’Brien Construction

2nd – CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic

3rd – New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital

Saturday Tournament Winners:

1st  – Freeman White, A Haskell Company

2nd – Pathology Reference Lab

3rd – South Texas Renal Care Group

Our first two-day tournament was a HUGE success because of our incredible sponsors and donors.  Overall, $273,000 was raised in support of the Friends Foundation! Funds raised will benefit programs, equipment, and more at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospitals. Again, thank you to all who attended Sister Michele O’Brien’s Golf fore Friends Tournament! We look forward to seeing you all next year – stay tuned for details!
