New Year, New Reasons To Smile.

As we all awaited the clocks to strike midnight on New Year’s Eve, several families were anxiously awaiting so much more.

Across the globe, it is predicted over 395,000 new babies were welcomed into the world on New Year’s Day. We were thrilled to celebrate some of the first tiny miracles delivered across our campuses at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and at the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System adult hospitals.

At CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills, baby Ethan joined his parents at 10:16 a.m. on January 1st at 6lbs 1oz delivered by Dr. Latasha A. Rabsatt, Belinda Beltan, RN, and Abbi Huesca, RN! Ethan is one of six children and his parents, Laquita and Carl, could not be any happier to finally have their newest addition.

Over at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels, baby Brady was born at 8:52 a.m. on January 2nd. Brady made his entrance at 7lbs 8oz and 21 inches. Brady was delivered by Dr. Emily Briggs. Brady’s parents, Maggie and Jordan, are over the moon with their little guy.

The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and mom, Vivian, welcomed little Brody Love on January 2nd at 8:53 a.m. weighing 7lbs and measuring 20.5 inches. Brody was delivered by Dr. Susan Rivera and was gifted a baby bathtub filled with toys and necessities, including a hooded bath towel, body wash, lotion, diapers, wipes – and a very special afghan handmade by our administrative director of nursing, Amber Pocrnich’s, mom!

Congratulations to all families who were able to celebrate the new year with something extra special! Wishing you all an amazing 2022 filled with an abundance of love and laughter.
