Celebrating The Patient Ambassador Club

We have the great honor of introducing our first group of Patient Ambassador Club (PAC) members!

The PAC is a group of patients who have received life-saving or life-changing care at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. PAC members serve as ambassadors for the Hospital in the community, sharing their story to help drive participation in local fundraising campaigns and events, educating the community about The Children’s Hospital and why it should be supported, and helping reinforce the Hospital’s position as a health care leader.

As past or current patients at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, these individuals have experienced, first-hand, the heart that goes into healing each child who walks through our doors. Our 15 members exhibit courage and strength and know that by sharing their stories with others, they are capable of making a world of difference.

On July 29, our patient ambassadors and their families had the opportunity to meet each other for the very first time and shared their health journeys, had some fun, and met Marcus, our in-house therapy dog!

Thank you to our community partners who donated goodies to help us celebrate these incredible kids and young adults. Ricos Products, Tiff’s Treats, Fancy Fluff, Sam’s Club, Lily’s Cookies, and Dairy Queen TX.

We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our patient ambassadors can achieve. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and stay tuned for more fun from the PAC!
