Congratulations to the 2021 Baylor College of Medicine Residency Graduates!

Last month, graduation festivities were held in celebration of the 2021 Class of Baylor College of Medicine Residents.

The graduates worked alongside faculty, eager to learn and to help build not only an incredible children’s hospital, but to continue laying the foundation for a brilliant teaching institution. The 13 resident graduates were among more than 1,000 applicants to apply for the three-year program they started in 2018.

Here’s what’s up next for these outstanding physicians:

Cody and Ashley graduated from the residency program in 2020, but remained with the program to serve as chiefs for one year. In the coming year, recent grads Matthew Sattler and Vaibhav Bhamidipati will serve as chief residents for the program.

Despite all of the challenges 2020 brought, we could not be more proud of this group of graduates. We wish you all the best of luck in the next chapter of your lives, and we hope The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio will always hold a special place in your hearts.

The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio joined Baylor College of Medicine in 2013 to ensure that the children of San Antonio and South Texas have access to world-class pediatric care. Our journey continues.

As we close this chapter, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation is excited to welcome the 13 new and talented residents of the class of 2021-2024!
