Celebrate Panda Cares Day with Panda Express on August 8 and Help The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio

We’re excited to celebrate Panda Cares Day on August 8! Why? Because Panda Express is hosting a one-day virtual fundraiser for area kids treated at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. When a guest places an order on the Panda Express mobile app or website using the promo code “PandaCaresDay” on August 8, Panda will donate 28 percent of online sales to benefit young patients from cross South Texas treated at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Donations collected year-round at local Panda Express locations have helped kids like our 2020 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Champion, Reid.

At a routine follow-up appointment just after Reid’s second birthday, his urologist found a softball-sized tumor growing on his right kidney. After transferring to The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, doctors created a game plan for Reid’s treatment. Nine months after Reid’s cancer diagnosis, his family received great news: The surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy had worked – Reid, who had warmly become known as “The Little Fighter,” was cancer-free.

Thanks to generous supporters like you, Reid is cancer-free today, 10 years after his initial diagnosis.

Additionally, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio is excited to recognize Panda Express for the $345,947 in donations collected for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio in 2019!
