Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) fundraising program that provides game-loving locals a fun way to support The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, your local CMNH member.
Local gamers of all levels and from all categories — console, mobile, PC, table top, etc. — are invited to game for a cause on Saturday, November 2. You can help save and improve the lives of kids being treated at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio by participating in 24 hours of gaming!
Here’s how it works: Participants sign up at extra-life.org, create their own personal fundraising page, and invite friends, family, and fans to support their 24 hours of gaming by making a donation to The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. The official Game Day is Nov. 2, but participants may complete their 24 hours of play whenever and however they like: all in one day, one hour a day for 24 days, etc. Players may also participate solo or on teams.
Interested in coming together with the community to play? Team Rackergamers is hosting a special Extra Life game day event at Rackspace on Saturday, November 2, and you’re invited! Learn more here and register today to join this cool event.
Extra Life was created in 2008 as a platform to unite thousands of gamers around the world to play their favorite games while raising funds in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since it’s inception, Extra Life has raised over $50 million for CMNH. In 2018, San Antonio Guild Games raised $57,884 for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio!
