Cheers to our future pediatricians! The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation was honored to welcome the 2019-2022 Baylor College of Medicine pediatric resident class during a special Meet the Residents reception this week.
The program, held at La Fonda on Main, was presented by our generous friends at Broadway Bank, who joined our celebration with donors, physicians, Associates and guests. Dr. Mark Gilger, pediatric residency program director, kicked off the evening by reflecting on the interview process and thanked the residents for making San Antonio their new home.
The new residents are from all over the country and were selected from more than one thousand applicants. Each resident brings his or her unique talents and dedication to The Children’s Hospital and will collectively provide the best care for our children. Chief residents, Ann Marie Mojica and Lauren Kjolhede Jenkins, were present to introduce the 13 residents and share a few fun facts about each of them.
Thank you and congratulations to the Baylor College of Medicine class of 2019-2022! We are beyond grateful to have you as a part of The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio family! We look forward to see all that you will accomplish.
