The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio is the first and only freestanding children’s hospital in San Antonio dedicated to providing world-class health care to children in San Antonio, South Texas, and beyond. For families all over Texas, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio has continued to be a beacon of hope.
The support from our communities is the backbone of the hospital. Throughout the year, many events and campaigns throughout the San Antonio area and across South Texas are held in support of The Children’s Hospital.
From August 1-30, Danny’s Restaurants in Laredo will host a Miracle Balloon campaign in all 13 of their restaurants! Customers will have the opportunity to add $1 during the cash-out process in support of The Children’s Hospital. For each balloon sold, customers will also be given a bracelet to thank them for their donation.
On August 29 & 30, La Raza 95.7 radio in Laredo will host a radiothon benefiting The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. From 7 am – 6 pm call 800-680-3622 to make your pledge and help save lives! To become Un Angel de Esperanza (Angel of Hope), listeners can choose to donate $20!
The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio serves more than 3,000 children from Laredo and surrounding areas each year, and we are so grateful for all of the hard work the Laredo community does to support our children.
When every second counts, community physicians and parents can rely on the ALL KIDZ Critical Care Transport Team, a specialized pediatric transport team bringing children in desperate need of specialized health care quickly and safely to The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
This life-saving mode of transportation is available 24/7 and is equipped to transport pediatric patients, including Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) patients.
