Children’s Hospital Trail Ride Kicks Off!

Children’s Hospital Trail Ride (CHTR) volunteers have been roping up smiles in support of The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio for more than 30 years!

Each year, local families and volunteers gather for country-western fun at CHTR’s team roping event, BBQ cook-off, trail ride, and benefit dance.

Proceeds raised through the annual events benefit our kids at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Last year, CHTR volunteers presented the Hospital with a slew of books and toys, and a check for $63,000, which will help fund programs, equipment, research, and so much more.

2019 Event Dates

BBQ Cook Off – March 15 – 16, 2019 (Cestohowa Hall)
Trail Ride – March 22 – 23, 2019 (Cestohowa Hall)
Roping – March 30 – 31, 2019 (Gonzales, TX)

CHTR participants enjoyed the trail ride in 2018 with beautiful weather.

The CHTR BBQ cookoff is a crowd favorite activity.
