National Volunteer Week 2017

April 23-29 is National Volunteer Week, and we are so grateful for all of our amazing volunteers at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio!

Throughout the year, special visitors come to the Hospital with unique performances, special crafts and activities, video games, etc. These visits are a welcomed distraction for our patients and their families. Our volunteers are always all-smiles and ready to help brighten up our kids’ lives.

THANK YOU to each and every volunteer who has sacrificed their own time to help bring hope, healing, and happiness to our precious patients and their families. Your impact is long-lasting and much appreciated! WE LOVE YOU!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the Child Life Department. Visits and special activities are scheduled based on patient needs and availability. Infection control and patient condition are always paramount when considering visitors and events. After reviewing the guidelines for special events and visitors, please fill out an application at least three weeks prior to the desired visit date.
