Zack’s parents were desperate to find the very best care for their four-year-old son who was suffering from a rare and aggressive type of kidney cancer.

After consulting with Dr. Barry Cofer and Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz at the pediatric intensive care unit at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, Zack’s parents felt confident that their son would receive the best care in their capable hands.

In April 2014, Dr. Cofer and Dr. Mumtaz – along with a dedicated and skilled team – successfully removed Zack’s tumor.
