October is Breast Health Awareness Month! Several community partners have signed up to help the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation raise funds to support the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU). Here are a few ways you can get involved and help!:
San Antonio B-Cycle
During the month of October, be on the lookout for the pink B-cycle around the downtown area. For every trip taken on the pink bike during October, San Antonio Bike Share and Bike world will each donate $1 to the Friends Foundation in support of the MMU!
We want to see the pink B-cycle in action! If you take a trip on the pink bike, please share your photos and use the #SABcycle hashtag to spread the word!
Kendra Scott Gives Back Party
Do some shopping (and feel good about it)! Join the Friends Foundation at Kendra Scott Quarry Village on October 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 20% of sales from the evening will benefit the Friends Foundation in support of the MMU.
There should not be any woman in this community who loses her life to breast cancer because she felt she could not afford screenings. Donate now to help!
