Westover Hills Campus Expands, Becomes Home to Two Top-Notch Programs

Have you heard about the exciting things happening at our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) campus? We recently celebrated the grand opening of Medical Plaza III, our newest addition at CSRH-WH. The 70,000 square foot building is a $12 million investment in the community and will offer physicians and health care providers access to the hospital’s services in the rapidly growing Westover Hills area.

Medical Plaza III is the new home to the nationally recognized CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program (CSRFMRP) and will house physicians and other medical providers, including a second location for the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center, a primary care provider and training site for the residency program.

“Our residency program is one of the most highly regarded programs in the country,” said Jose Hinojosa, II, MD, Program Director for the CSRFMRP. “Our faculty in the Family Health Center is committed to educating and producing some of the best family practice physicians in America.”

The continuous dedication to providing excellent health care to the whole family has helped CHRISTUS Santa Rosa’s Family Health Center become the first health care clinic in San Antonio to be awarded the highest recognition as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

“We are excited to transition our program to the Westover Hills campus and look forward to serving our patients and welcoming new ones from this community and beyond,” Hinojosa added. “We are honored to be able to bring new services not previously available in this area.”
